How to Chat

Google’s Gmail allows users to chat on Gtalk while checking their email. If you do not have a Gmail account then follow the directions below to create your own free account.

After signing up for an account, you will be ready to use your Gtalk. Sign into your account www.gmail.com.

On the left side you will see a box labeled “Chat.” On the bottom, right-hand side of the Chat box is a link to “Add Contact.” Add chooseyourfuturecps@gmail.com.

As soon as we approve your invite, you can chat with a live person.

Chat Hours

Exact hours of operation will be set soon. We need to know when students need help the most. Please send us your thoughts on this by e-mailing chooseyourfuturecps@gmail.com.

At this time, chat will be available from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A green dot next to our name indicates that we are online and ready to chat. If you see us online with an orange dot next to our name, it indicates we are away at the moment and will get back to you shortly. If we are offline, indicated with a gray dot with an ‘X’ in the center, you can still send us a message. We still receive messages sent offline and we will respond as soon as we can.
