CTE Enhanced Teacher Credentials

The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program continually works to ensure that Chicago Public Schools (CPS) offers strong opportunities to our students. As part of this work, we have provided enhanced supports to schools such as better equipped CTE labs, more professional development for teachers, and more work-based learning opportunities for students. Central to our efforts is also ensuring that our CTE programs offer modern, industry-relevant training, which includes offering students industry-validated curriculum and, in many cases, the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials.
