The CTE Staff Guide tells you all the fundamentals you need to know about operating CTE programs in CPS, such as what teacher credentials are required for each program, what student assessment tools are used, what curriculum and programs of study students should follow, what budget allocations are given to each program, and whom to call for various types of support in the CTE department. This guide is different than other management handbooks. Instead of one "big book", it is a compilation of targeted "one‐pagers" that together make up an overall operations guide. Each page or section can stand alone a separate communication and planning tool. At first, reading in the "one‐pager" format may be unusual, but the utility of having targeted segments makes real‐time use more practical.
