Do you have questions about what you want to do after high school? College & Career Centers are available in some high schools to help you get the information you need.
At a College and Career Center, you will have access to the internet and will receive help in creating a plan for your life after high school. You can talk with a counselor or college advisor
about your plans. You can explore colleges and careers on Choices Planner. You can get help writing your college essays and completing your college applications. You can search for scholarships. You can create or improve your resume.
A number of College and Career Centers also offer Online College and Financial Aid Center (OCFAC) workshops. OCFAC workshops will help you understand what you need to do to prepare for college.
You can also bring your parents to the OCFAC workshops, so they can learn how to support you. There are specific OCFAC workshops for parents around financial aid that cover the FAFSA and scholarships.

- Open to all CPS students
- If there are no OCFAC workshops in your school, you may attend them at another school
