The Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) is a test you take as a junior. It assesses your knowledge in reading, math, science, and writing.
The PSAE includes different parts and is taken over two days:
Day 1:
ACT
includes four multiple-choice tests (English, mathematics, reading, and science) and a 30-minute writing test.
Day 2:
WorkKeys
includes science, math and reading assessments of cognitive abilities.
Who
- All juniors take the PSAE. Seniors students may choose to retake it to improve their scores.
What you need
When
- Juniors: April 23-24, 2008
- Juniors makeup test: May 7-8, 2008
- Seniors retake tests: October 25 and 28, 2008
