The Ambassador Program is a student-driven leadership initiative that advocates and promotes a positive postsecondary education culture in high schools. The Ambassadors are a group of students selected based on their enthusiasm and ability to help motivate and encourage their peers. The Ambassadors are not required to have a specific grade point average or ACT score, which allows a wide variety of students to participate and gain valuable leadership experience.

Ambassadors meet with their postsecondary coach or counselor to gather and review postsecondary information, which they then share with the student body. Ambassadors also act as a voice for their classmates, expressing concerns about transitioning to college, financial aid, and the college application process. Recognized as leaders in their schools, Ambassadors guide by example and are empowered for postsecondary success.

Please see the list below of CPS high schools with Ambassador Programs. Students can get involved in the program by talking to your counselor or postsecondary coach. If your school is not listed, but you would like to help organize an Ambassador Program at your school, contact us.
