The Student Development program prepares young people to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood via a coordinated, progressive series of activities and experiences. Each school works with its constituent groups—students, faculty, parents, community leaders, and administrators—to build a set of activities and experiences that develop and promote student voice, belonging, choice, freedom, imagination and success.

As schools work to address students’ concerns raised in the Student Connections Survey, the Student Development Team provides organizational and development support to improve student engagement, student attendance, reduce the incidence of high risk behaviors, influence student achievement and increase graduation rates.
