Sharing Empowering Responsible Information 4 Obtaining Undergraduate Success
TIME TO GET SERIOUS is a college success conference for CPS seniors that is geared toward helping CPS graduates makes informed and successful transitions from high school to college. While academic preparation is critical to success in postsecondary education, guidance in social and behavioral expectations is important as well. Social preparation for college especially benefits first-generation college students as they embark on their journey toward academic and social independence.
In the past, workshop topics have included financial aid and financial responsibility, diversity, nutrition/drugs and alcohol, dating and sexual responsibility and academic success.
