What does it mean if you are an undocumented student? “Undocumented student” refers to students who live in the United States with no documentation stating U.S. citizenship or legal residency.
Undocumented students often face additional obstacles when applying to college. However, being undocumented does not mean you can’t go to college. You may just need to put in a little extra effort.
