Logging into Choose Your Future

Do I Need To Login?

Normally, you do not.

There are a only a few things that we ask you to login for. Almost all of the the content on the site is publicly available and does not require logging in to view. Sometimes we have a few online forms for special programs that we require you to login to complete, but those are rare and you will always be asked to login before doing so. Specifically for staff, we have our reports section that requires you to login to view school and student level reports.

How Do I Log In?

The short answer: With your CPS user name (NOT your full email address) and password.

The long answer: That depends on if you are a student or a staff person.

For Students

For Staff

If you are a student, you do have a CPS user name (or user id) and password, but the system is commonly referred to as First Class. You can get your user name (or user id) and password from a counselor or teacher at your school. Once you have this information, make sure that you can login at First Class at https://fc.cps.edu/ If you can login at First Class successfully, then you can login here at Choose Your Future.

If you are a charter school student, you will not have a CPS username or password and you will not be able to login to Choose Your Future.

Questions
Students with questions about logging in should speak with a counselor or a teacher at their school.

If you are a staff person at CPS, you are probably very familiar with your user name (user id) and password, as you use it to login with most CPS systems.

If you are a charter school staff person you may have a CPS username and password and you will know if you do. Most charter school staff do NOT have them.

Questions
Staff with questions about logging in should speak with a supervisor (principal, manager, director, etc.) or call the 3-EXCL (773-553-3925) help line.
