2011 Cosmetology Capstone - The Hair Oscars

On May 19, 2011, top students in our Cosmetology program took to the stage to compete for top spots in this year’s "Hair Oscars."

The event is the annual capstone for students in the Cosmetology program and includes two live competitions – Runway Evening Styles and Make-Up Application. The student s were cheered on by friends and family and judged by a panel of industry experts. The event was hosted red carpet style with entertainment by Taproots and the Simeon Dance Team and refreshments provided by Bon Manger Catering.

While not everyone could leave with a coveted “Hair Oscar” all the students truly shined and had a great opportunity to highlight their talents.
