Success for Seven Students at Walgreens Expressions Challenge!

Seven students won prizes at Walgreens Expressions Challenge. This content was open to all Chicago students between 13 and 19 years of age.  Foreman High School (host to a CTE Digital Media Program) won 2nd place in the Design category.  Dunbar (host to a CTE Broadcast Technology Program) won 2nd place in the Video/Photography category.  Kenwood won 2nd place in writing/poetry.  Congratulations!  

  • D'eona Phillips (CPS Student) and Francis Allende (CPS Teacher) represented Foreman High School.  Take a look at her fantastic work below! 
  • The winning team from Dunbar consisted of students Kira Bowman, Ndea Davis, Brittany Hardaway, Hanna Neely, and Micole Vinson.  Their teacher is John Johnson.
  • Tyler Barber is the winning student from Kenwood and is a student in the Honors Theater Arts program there.  

Each team won $1,500 for the students and $500 for the school.  Congratulations to all!
