A comprehensive, urban university that serves the greater Chicago metropolitan area. The primary purpose of the university is instructional, and it offers 36 undergraduate and 16 graduate degree programs. CSU has an undergraduate and graduate population of over 8,700 students and a faculty of over 300.

Courses are chosen from the catalog – most 100 level courses and introductory 200 level courses are open to College Bridge students.
Student must complete CPS Student Participation Agreement (counselor should keep a copy of this on file)
Complete and send to the college:
- Application Form (available at the college website)
- 2 letters of recommendation from Counselors or Teachers
- Unofficial high school transcript
- Copy of CPS Student Participation Agreement (Counselor should also keep a copy of this on file)
Schedule student for placement exams, student must pass 2 of 3 placement exams.
