When you are a college student, you are responsible for going to class, keeping up on class reading, and preparing for tests. No one will pester you to show up and do the work.

A few pointers:
- Don’t cut class.
- Read the class syllabus and write important dates in your calendar.
- Stay up-to-date on class assignments.
- Get to know your teachers. That will make it easier to ask for help if you need it.
- Find the campus tutoring or resource center. Use it if you need it.
