AVID helps you get organized and get ready for college. AVID is active at many CPS elementary schools. If you are in one of those schools, you will learn AVID strategies in writing, inquiry, collaboration, and reading when you are in Grades 5 through 8. These strategies will help you get organized, improve your study skills, work in teams, and prepare for high school courses.
