Academic 2.5 mimimum (a copy of the official transcript must be submitted)
This scholarship is intended to supplement other financial assistance and are awarded to high school seniors who wish to further their educational endeavors. Students must: be a legal resident of the 27th Ward at the time of submission (proof of residency must be submitted); be accepted to an accredited college/university (acceptance letter or registration forms must be submitted); return nominee application along with other requirements; submit proof of community service hours; and complete the essay question (see website for details).
