There are always going to be things you doing life that you enjoy more than others. For instance you may prefer your Math class to English class. If this is the case, you probably do your Math homework first, double check it to ensure it is correct and neat, always turn in your Math work on-time and do well on every test. Meanwhile, you may put off your English homework until the last minute, complete work and not recheck it, do average on the tests and never give it your best work.

This is because when you are doing something you enjoy, you tend to give the activity your best effort. This is true outside of school as well. Think about the sports you play or the clubs you join – you get involved and do well because you like what you are doing. The same thing can be said for the career you choose. The more you enjoy your work, the better you will do and the happier you will be.
