On January 23 CPS will deploy the new online SIM Academic Planner, which will enable High School counselors to view course-specific contributions to satisfying graduation requirements, forecast graduation based on current course load, and identify non-contributing credits.. These system enhancements will provide High School counselors with unprecedented capability to track and guide student progress towards graduation. To successfully leverage the new Academic Planner and understand the associated course conversion impact on High School Transcripts, please familiarize yourself with the information here.
The Office of Former Student Records maintains student records for the majority of Chicago Public Elementary and High Schools. With written authorization the department can provide a copy of a high school transcript, verify a graduation date from high school, copy of an elementary registration card or medical records.
See http://www.cps.edu/About_CPS/Departments/Pages/StudentRecords.aspx for more information.
There are sevaral video recordings from Safari Montage webinars available at CPS Live. Once the video screen opens click the play button (arrow) in the top left corner to start the video.

This report details the names of each student manually graduated in June 2011 with identified shortfalls in meeting the formal graduation criteria as well as the number of credits not currently counting towards graduation requirements. A notes column is provided to record the specific name/number of the course substitution used and/or other rationale for exercising manual graduation for each student. Please indicate a reason for each course or graduation requirement identified as a shortfall. You may refer to the course code mapping chart (above) to determine how a particular course was classified in Autograd towards satisfying graduation requirements. The completed spreadsheet must be returned by close of business on November 9, 2011 to Dr. Edward Klunk via email.
Thank you for your cooperation as we seek to provide the most effective automated tools and eliminate the current manual and labor-intensive process of reviewing student records for graduation eligibility. If you need assistance with completing the spreadsheet contact Dr. Edward Klunk at 553-2072 / eklunk@cps.k12.il.us., or Barbara Karpouzian at 553-5660 / bakarpouzian@cps.k12.il.us.
